Our proprietary designed coil heat exchangers are engineered for capacities of 0.5 liters/minute up to 1,500 GPH. They are engineered to process a variety of products.
Excel-A-Tec’s hairpin single tube-in-tube or multiple tube-in-tube patented* heat exchangers are engineered with 40 feet of uninterrupted energy transfer for capacities of 1,500 GPH or more. Their hairpin design, high turbulence and counter flow heat exchange between water and product generate one of the highest levels of energy transfer. This high level of energy transfer results in a small temperature differential, ΔT, between water and product. Small ΔT helps to avoid hot spots, heat shock and uneven heating. High energy transfer can result in shorter heating and holding of the product.
Our patented* heat exchangers are engineered for indirect heating with stainless steel separating the water from the product. They are manufactured with smooth stainless steel tubing to ease processing and cleaning. Excel-A-Tec’s patented* heat exchangers are engineered to process a wide range of products including those containing particulates up to 8 mm or pulp.
